We probably don’t feature audio books enough around here, considering we’re always listening to them!
Actually that’s not true.  I’ve noticed  I go in waves with my audio books, but I tend to listen to books that I’ve already read and loved so I don’t always see the value in telling you again how much I enjoyed something… even though I do it a lot. LOL
Anyway, the one thing that I need in an audio book is a voice I can listen to for anywhere from 6- 14 hours, which is why I love audible. Â I can always go in and listen to a sample before I purchase something and decide if it’s going to work for me.
Apparently I was recently hoarding my monthly audible credit and found myself with 5 sitting in my shelf and thought I better start downloading some stuff. Â I wanted to share my recent downloads with you and then share some thoughts on a few of the books I’ve recently finished.
okay – so first up, my recent purchases!
All of these are amazing books – if you haven’t read them do it!! OR Grab the audible, I’ve listened to the samples, the narrators sound just right!
Okay – so now I want to tell you about a few of the books I’ve recently listened to.
This is now my most favorite audio book ever. The narrator IS SIMON! I loved the book when I read it and rereading via audible was just perfection. Â If you are looking for a book to buy, this is it.
I adored this book, so I just knew that I was going to love the audio, plus I wanted to give it a relisten before I started book 2. Â The narration was wonderful, I think it’s safe to say that I could listen to someone with an accent for hours and hours and never dislike it. Â Definitely check this one out if you’re a fan of quirky investigators and mystical mysteries!
Winger was one of my absolute favorite books I read last year and I knew I was going to have a reread before Stand-Off came out and I just absolutely loved it just as much as the first time I read through it. Â If you haven’t read this book yet, I can’t tell you how much you need to pick it up!
With Queen of Shadows soon to be on shelves I knew I needed a refresher of Heir of Fire and audio was the perfect choice. I love the narrator of this series and of course you can’t go wrong with Sarah J. Maas – if you haven’t listened to this series, DO IT NOW.
Okay so those are my most recent listens, but you might also want to check out some of the following titles which are among my favorites in audio!
