Hey Everyone!!Â
Some changes are coming soon here at Fiction Fare!! If you read my post on the 4th of July you’ll remember I had given myself a list of things to do over the long weekend. Â One of those things was figure out the blog redesign and conversion from Blogger to WordPress. Â
I’m happy to say that these tasks are happening right now! This is something that we’ve been playing with for over a year and it’s kind of been on the back burner, but now, my lovely and amazingly talented friend Kassiah is currently working on the redesign for me. Â
With that come a few housekeeping things. If you follow me on twitter right now, you may notice that the blog is linked to @jaimearkin  – When I started blogging, it was easy to just use my personal twitter, I mean, seriously who is going to follow me except close friends and family right? Â
I guess I was wrong there – I’ve found over the last couple years, that it’s become harder and harder to keep up with my friends on the account because I get inundated with publisher/author/book tweets in my feed – which is what I want … for my blog twitter, but it’s time to suck it up and make a separate personal account now. Believe me, this took a ton of prodding from Kass. Â
So I’m in the process of changing my @jaimearkin to @fictionfare/@ficfare – (I’m undecided on which yet) – what that means for you? Nothing actually, if you already follow us there, then nothing will be different except the name you see. However, If you would like to follow me personally, you can find me now at @jaime_arkin (and this may actually go to @jaimearkin once I get the Fic Fare Twitter changed over)

In all honesty, 90% of my time will still be spent on the Fiction Fare twitter because I’ll just be honest here, I love reading all the other blog posts and seeing what’s going on in the book world and that’s where I plan to keep all those follows.  I just wanted to let you all know what was going on because you will see a change in name… AND you might have gotten a follow request from @jaime_arkin and no… no one is impersonating me. Â
I hope you’ll continue to follow and if you’re not already, come make sure you do – I have a special giveaway coming up for ONLY twitter followers to celebrate hitting 5k followers!Â
