The 15 day book blogging challenge, which is hosted over at goodbooksandgoodwine.com, tells us that today we get to show off! Â The topic is to share with you what we consider our 5 best posts so in no particular order, we give you our list!
I think all of our BEA posts should fall into this category but I will save the space and only include the BEA Wrap Up post. Â Not only did we leave with a ton of books for ourselves but we also got a lot for giveaways to our wonderful readers. Â We also had the opportunity to hang out with Kassiah & Meg (Swoony Boys Podcast) and had the BEST. TIME. EVER. Â To complete the whole experience, we also did our first ever podcast (#BEA13 Was, Like, Totally Awesome) with them just to share our thoughts about everything. Â In addition to all of that, we had a super awesome giveaway for everyone and a few people received some pretty cool books and swag.
We were lucky enough to be close to a stop for the Pitch Dark Tour so of course, we had to go! Â The event included Kiera Cass, Amy Tintera, Aprilynn Pike, and Liz Norris – some of our favorite authors. Â Post signing, we actually were able to chat with Liz Norris for a little while which was great! Â This was another event that gave us the opportunity to get some signed books for a giveaway.
Interview with Katja & GiveawayIt is no secret that we love the book The Sea of Tranquility. Â Lucky for us, we were able to participate in the blog tour for the book and that included having the opportunity to ask Katja Millay some very important questions…not only about the book but also about Josh. Â She may have told us that Josh smells like sawdust but for some reason that didn’t end up in the post – regardless, this one is one of our favorites and we hope you like it too!
We really like this post because we love this book. Â Wait, who are we kidding, we love the series. Â No kidding, if you can’t tell that from our fangirly reviews then definitely look again. Â I think we definitely conveyed just how much we love the books and Sarah Maas.
This is another series that has made it onto our favorites shelves and we were lucky enough to be a part of the blog tour for the release of book two in The Grisha series. Â We tried our best to review the book while not giving anything away but you will notice that on top of a great story, Leigh Bardugo can write some swoony guy characters…both good and bad. Â Good luck choosing who you like best after reading this book – We still have a hard time!
Tell us what you think about these posts and if there are any posts we did that you consider your favorites – We want to know!
