The 15 day book blogging challenge, which is hosted over at goodbooksandgoodwine, asks us a question that I think all bloggers face at one point or another, and that is, how do we fight blogger fatigue!Â
We here at Fic Fare are on the newer end of blogging – just over a year now. Â So I’m not sure I’ve ever had blogger fatigue yet. Â Are there days we aren’t in the mood to deal with posting anything or writing a review? Absolutely. Â But I think that that’s totally okay! Â I think mixing things up a bit really keeps us on our game and keeps things interesting, but even if that doesn’t work, and we’re not quite up to creating new content for the blog, we have a backup. See, as fast as we read, we have a back stock of reviews & features stored that we haven’t posted yet. Â So even if we don’t feel like creating new content that day, we still have new stuff we can post, and hopefully a little break does us good and we get back into the swing of things as soon as we can.Â
I think it also helps that this is no longer a one person blog. Â Since I asked my sister (Erin) to help me out, every little thing doesn’t fall on me anymore. I don’t get overwhelmed by the books and reviews and comments because I have some help, so if there is a day that I don’t want to do anything, chances are, that she will hop on and do what needs to be done.Â
I know, none of that is all that mind-blowing but it actually works for us. Â I love when we are able to provide new content on a daily basis, and we’ll do that for as long as we can! All the comments and support help make this fun and exciting and it definitely keeps the fatigue away!
Are you a blogger who suffers from blog fatigue? How do you handle it? Â We want to know!
