Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the awesome and wonderful people over at The Broke and The Bookish
Today’s Top Ten Tuesday is all about the settings in books! We’re talking about the books with settings that we’d love to visit and let me tell you… I’ve got a list!Â
Lucky Harbor – I want to live in any and all of Jill Shalvis’s towns. ANY OF THEM.
Nantucket / The Beach / Seaside Town – From Huntley Fitzpatrick & Rebecca Maizel to Leila Howland and Sarah Ockler, they’ve all written amazing stories set in seaside towns that I would love to spend a summer in.
1920’s NYC – I fell in love with Speak Easy, Speak Love this summer, mostly due to the setting. I would love to visit that time period.
Europe – One of the reasons I loved Wanderlost so much was Sam… but the other reason I loved that story is because of the trip through Europe. It would be a dream to go!
France – again… I would love to go to France. Not having had much opportunity to travel, this country is definitely on my list!
Cross Country Road trip – who doesn’t love a good road trip… now add in some amazing music and a crushworthy guy! Count me in!
Battle of the Bands Contest/Road trip – Love love love the setting for this story and I love that the setting isn’t some studio instead it takes place on a city to city tour!
Sailing Trip – again… water, relaxing sailing trip… or not. I think this would be an amazing way to spend a summer!
Hart’s Boardwalk – Seaside Town – Romance authors just create some of the most amazing fake towns ever. This is one that I’d love to go to in real life!
What’s a bookish setting you’d love to visit? Let me know in the comments!Â
