It’s Our Four Year Blogoversary!

Today we celebrate four years of blogging! We’ve had so much fun with the book community and getting to know you all and share our love of books! We’re so excited that you follow us and trust our recommendations!

The past year has been so crazy – I feel like I was writing up a post just like this only days ago!

Over the past year, we’ve attended some amazing author events, attended some amazing book events (ALA, BEA) and we have a ton more on the horizon! (BEA is coming to Chicago!!)

Anyway we just wanted to take a second to share some of our milestones!

First up… we surpassed 2,000 followers on the blog – I’m always surprised that anyone wants to listen to us ramble about books, but 2,000 plus of you??? That’s insane. We’re so grateful for all your input and comments and participation in the fun things we try to host!

We’re almost at 3,000 followers on Instagram! If you’re not following us there, really I post pictures of books and my crazy cats… occasionally you might catch a picture of us with authors there as well! So if you aren’t following please do!

We posted 220 (ish) reviews since this time last year! That’s an amazing amount of books, but we’re so excited that we were able to share our thoughts on them with you!

Over the past year you may have noticed a few things changing as we get to know what people like and enjoy and want… but I wanted to highlight a few things that we’ve started and are always looking for more participants for!

Instagram Challenge – we’ve started posting a monthly instagram challenge that we partner with Swoony Boys Podcast for and it’s been so fun finding new followers and seeing everyone’s pretty pretty pictures they’re posting!

We also started WhaddYA Know Wednesday! A fun YA book trivia we do on Twitter! It’s been so fun testing everyone’s YA knowledge! We even send out prizes to the winners! Please make sure you’re setting aside your 3rd Wednesday of the month to win prizes and have fun with us!!

Author Chat Podcasts – We’ve got a ton of these coming up! We love chatting with authors and we’re so excited to work with Swoony Boys on this project! Make sure you watch the blog for some upcoming amazing chats we’ve got!

So really the whole point of this post is to say thank you… and we hope to see you for another year… and stick around for all the fun an amazing things that are sure to come!

We’re celebrating this milestone by cleaning off our shelves. I have four super cute tote bags that we’ve filled with ARC’s from our shelves! – These are going to be a surprise to anyone who wins one, and we’ll throw in some fun swag too!
