This was my first Laurie Halse Anderson book and I actually listened to the audio of it. I highly recommend it! The story is moving and emotional and I quickly moved all of Halse Anderson’s book to my ‘to read’ pile!
I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel about this one! Especially as I got further into it… but I found when I turned the final page that I really enjoyed it! Definitely worth a read if you’re looking for a quick contemporary!

I totally loved everything about this book you guys! The story was intriguing and interesting, the characters were wonderful… and North!!

So Erin and I read this book together… and thank god, because I had lots to say about it. Enough that I spent about 1.5 hours on skype with a lovely friend when she finished discussing things. If you love twists and turns and mystery then you definitely need to pick this one up!

So I adored this book when I finally had the chance to read it… it’s a quick read for sure, and once you start you probably won’t want to put it down.

I read Golden on the way to BEA in 2012 and I seriously could not put it down. I sat in our hotel room waiting for the girls to arrive and finished it. Again, a bit of a mystery involved here, but a story filled with love and tragedy for sure!

We love Liz Cuzkas here on Fic Fare – She’s the queen of fluffy, cute reads and this was the book that started it all for us here. If you’re a fan of contemporary and like something with that ‘sliding doors’ kind of feel to it, definitely get this one asap!
