Monthly Wrap Up – July Was Crazy!!

It’s been a busy summer here at Fiction Fare! Hopefully everyone is enjoying the summer and reading a lot of books! In case you missed anything from us this past month, here is the recap for July.

It’s All About The Authors

EVENTS

We had the opportunity to meet some great authors this month and definitely encourage you to check out their books if you haven’t already!

Maggie Stiefvater – The event was hosted by Boswell Book Company and I have to say, I loved having the opportunity to chat with Maggie about her books. She was pretty early on in her cross-country roadtrip when she was in Milwaukee but I can’t imagine her being anything but super animated and engaging. If you ever get the chance, go out and meet her!

PPL YA Fest – Pinkerington Public Library YA Fest was in Ohio so we made the roadtrip for a number of reasons. One, there were a bunch of awesome authors attending that we have been waiting to meet for a while now. Two, one of our favorite people, Kristen Simmons, lives in Ohio and we needed to meet up. And finally, our lovely friend Corie lives in Ohio…which meant we got to spend time with her!

We will be giving away some signed books from the event – make sure you check back here!

VIRTUAL BOOK CLUB

If you didn’t know, we have switched to a different format for the readalongs. Instead of a real time readalong, we have moved to a Virtual Book Club. Check out the post here and please consider joining us!
