Monthly Wrap Up: March

It has been a crazy March…mostly due to work, but we have had some downtime so I can’t really complain that much. Jaime is going on vacation this week so I expect she will come back having read 15 books and I will be a bit jealous but that’s the good part about Spring Break, right?? I hope everyone is getting a chance to enjoy some great weather and hopefully some time to relax and read all the books!

EVENTS

We were lucky enough that Anderson’s Bookshop had two fantastic author events scheduled this month and because of that, we had the opportunity to see Tahereh Mafi (Restore Me) and Ransom Riggs in Naperville AND Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff (Obsidio) in La Grange. There were so many readers at both of these events but they were so well organized, it wasn’t even an issue. Definitely go check out the author’s books – Obsidio is the last in the series so if you’re like me and were just waiting for the final book, you can now binge them all.
