Monthly Wrap Up

The months are just flying by! School is out in a week (or so) and I think summer is officially here. We decided to go to Boston for Memorial Day weekend and that was great but I have to admit…I’m really looking forward to ALA at the end of June.

Fun with our Blogger Besties – Swoony Boys Podcast!

If you haven’t heard yet, we have recorded some new and fun podcasts with our besties over at Swoony Boys Podcast. We’ve decided that each month we will have a few different things going up because we miss talking to each other so make sure you check back here often.

Our #EJKMbookclub May pick (My choice!) was Stolen Songbird by Danielle L. Jensen and I’m happy to report that despite the concerns Jaime, Meg, and Kass had…they all loved it! I may have told them they should always listen to me from now on but it’s safe to say that I don’t think they will. Because we love talking to each other about book boys, we went ahead and continued our Hotties of the Month episodes (because they all like to torture me by making me say “hottie”). Events

We were lucky again this month because we had the opportunity to head down to Anderson’s Bookshop to see Jay Kristoff for the launch of Aurora Rising. It was a great event and while we missed Amie Kaufman, Jay was entertaining enough for the both of them. Veronica Roth just happened to be the stand in for Amie so it was great to get to see and hear from her as well!
