Monthly Wrap Up: November

Is it me or did this year feel like it flew by? It’s hard to believe that 2019 is right around the corner but I’m also excited to see what the new year brings…but I’m not going to rush it! We still have one month left for this year and I hope everyone is bracing themselves for the holidays and hopefully you all have some downtime to take one more run at your reading goals for the year!

All right you guys – I feel like we have had this as a placeholder for a while now but I’m serious this time. This last year has been a bit crazy with all the adulting and family things we and our besties have had going on but we are starting 2019 with a solid plan! We have some podcasts headed your way in the upcoming months but in the meantime, if you have any recommendations or requests on topics or authors we should interview / talk to, just put them in the comments!

Events

We have been lucky lately in that authors have been coming to Milwaukee to visit! Although this means we don’t get to see our Illinois friends as much, I have to admit, I appreciate not having a long drive! This month, Boswell Book Company had Marissa Meyer in the store and we had a fantastic time listening to her chat about her new book Archenemies which is book 2 in her Renegades series and I’ve included the link there so you can make sure to add this to your bookshelves.
