October – Month in Review

In case you missed anything this past month, here is the recap for October.

Events:
The Legion Tour
We had the opportunity to meet Kami Garcia, Margaret Stohl, Cinda Williams Chima and Rachel Caine.  This was a great event at our local Barnes & Noble and we ended up with some great swag and a signed copy of Unbreakable by Kami Garcia for a giveaway.

Veronica Roth Live Show – Allegiant Tour
Jaime and I made the trek to Downers Grove, IL to attend the live show to celebrate the release of Allegiant.  It was definitely a great experience.  It was held at the Tivoli Theater and about 1000 people were in attendance.  After about 45 minutes of Q&A, Veronica and her brother sang a song for the crowd that her brother wrote for Tris.  Since the signing was done in order of ticket number, we were pretty close to the end. Thankfully, being in a theater, Veronica Roth chose to show Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban while we waited.
