Iron’s Prophecy by Julie Kagawa
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I have nothing but love for this series. Seriously I think of Ash and I’m all
In this novella we get that last peak into Meghan’s life as the Iron Queen. It revolves around a prophecy from the Oracle “What you carry will either unite the courts, or it will destroy them.”
Kagawa gives us that one last adventure with Meghan, Ash and Puck and it was lovely. I’m not going to spill a whole lot of details because I’m not going to ruin anything, but it’s a perfect lead in to the Lost Prince.
Ash… My faery with a soul.
He lay on his stomach, arms beneath the pillow, breathing peacefully, his dark hair falling over his eyes. The covers had slipped off his lean, muscular shoulders, and the early-morning rays caressed his pale skin.
I totally have a fic crush on this boy…
“My queen,” he breathed, one hand reaching up to frame my cheek, making my stomach jump and twirl. “I belong to you. No matte what Mab says, no matter how long I’ve been in Tir Na Nog, my life is yours. Nothing will ever make me leave your side.”
So … basically what I’m saying is that Meghan is one lucky girl. And also, I love Julie Kagawa for giving us this glimpse into their future.
If you haven’t read The Iron Fey series- you must do so. It’s one of my all-time favorites and I know you’ll love it just as much as I do. I’ve read The Lost Prince and can honestly say that I’m just as excited for Ethan and the remaining books in his series as well!
Kagawa needs to put this on all her books
