Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by the awesome and wonderful people over at The Broke and The Bookish
Today’s topic really makes us sit down and think about what we’re doing… or not doing as the case may be! Have a look at the things we want to quit or have already quit!
Beating myself up over not finishing a book – Â I think it’s hard, especially when you get the book from a publisher or author, but I have come to the conclusion that I won’t love every single book I read and I shouldn’t feel pressured to read something I’m not enjoying.
Wondering what I’m not doing right… We all beat ourselves up on occasion and I am no different. Â I sometimes feel like I’m not making as much of an impact or people aren’t following and participating in things as much as we’d like. Â I need to be better about not comparing myself to others and sticking to doing things the way I want to do them!
Arc jealousy… it’s hard and it’s a real thing even all these years later.
Justifying how much I read. It never fails when someone sees my annual reading total I inevitably get the comment “I wish I had as much time as you do to read.”  You should see my face when that happens.  It’s my hobby… I don’t watch a ton of T.V. shows, I don’t knit or draw…I don’t write anymore so I get to spend my extra time reading.  I don’t make anyone else justify their hobbies I shouldn’t have to justify mine.
There you have it… not quite 10 things, but this was a hard topic this week! What about you? What’s on your list to quit or what have you already quit? Â Let us know in the comments!Â
