Top Ten Books At The Top Of My Summer TBR List

This week the topic is Top Ten Books on My Summer To Be Read List! This is always a tough one for me because my TBR list is an ugly ugly place … I mean it’s pretty because of all the books, but ugly because – look how many and how do I pick!!!! Anyway, while Erin’s off gallivanting through China, I’ll try and list my top ten here! (Click the cover to get to the goodreads page!)

Antigoddess – This was one of my MUST GET’s at BEA this year and I’m dying to get to it. I love Kendare Blake’s Anna series and now she’s giving us gods & goddesses! I’m so excited!

These Broken Stars – I have actually bumped this one up on my to read list after Wendy Darling told me I should. I trust her opinion and while I wanted to read it before, I wasn’t all ‘omg I have to’ until she gave me the very brief synopsis via instagram!

Finnikin of the Rock – Finnikin has been on my to read list forever… in fact, almost a year ago is when I put it on my on deck list and I even opened it and read the first few chapters. BUT I was on my way home from SDCC and dead tired and I realized I couldn’t just breeze through it, so I put it aside. I plan on picking it up this summer again and actually reading it!

Boy Nobody – This book wasn’t really on my radar until a few friends read it and were raving about it! Both Liza and Kassiah have read it and told me how amazing it was so it is now on my ‘up next’ pile. I’m excited to read it so I can chat with them about it!

Gameboard of the Gods – I adore Richelle Mead and love everything she writes… this has been on my to read list since I heard it was coming out, I can’t wait to get a chance to sit down and read it!

By Referral Only – I am really really excited to start this one. Actually, Kassiah and I have a read-along of this one planned so that makes it even better, but I’m excited to see what is happening over at Whitman University again!

The Moon and More – What is summer without a little Sarah Dessen? Yes, I have a ton of other books of hers that I should probably read first, but I’m really excited about this one. She always manages to incorporate the perfect amount of sweet and sad and her heroines always seem to be girls I end up liking a lot.

Wild Cards – So this will be my first Simone Elkeles book… don’t yell at me. Anyway – I get the feeling this is very Friday Night Lights … think high school romance / drama – Not a typical pick for me, but I can’t resist!

The Summer My Life Began – This is one I picked up at BEA this year and I’m excited to give it a read. Summer Romance — Goooooood!

The Infinite Moment of US – I adore this cover… I just wish mine looked like this *sigh* anyway — I really really want to get back to this one. I started it while waiting for the plane from NYC a couple weeks ago… but Crown of Midnight was calling my name so I set it aside. I’m going back very soon!!

Nantucket Blue – I had to put this on here… yes I know it’s number 11. but I’m a rule breaker! My friends who have read this have loved it and it seems like it will be the perfect summer read. I can’t wait!!
