Top Ten Tuesday – My Top 10 Auto Buy Authors!

This week the topic is: My Top Ten Auto-Buy Authors
(in no particular order)

So… which authors do I auto-buy… no summary necessary, I see their name and I’m running to Amazon/Barnes&Noble and putting everything in my cart?

1. Jennifer Armentrout – I picked up a book by her while I was vacation a couple years ago, and as soon as I finished I bought every. single. thing. Since then, I don’t even have to think about whether or not I want to read her latest because I’m never disappointed by anything she gives us readers!

2. Ruthie Knox – she’s my go-to romance writer these days. I’ve rated everything she’s written four stars or higher and for the romance genre (for me) that’s excellent. If you haven’t read anything of hers yet, start with Ride with Me and then pick up About Last Night – then venture into her new Camelot Series!

3. Jill Shalvis – I know, I know… Another romance writer, but Jill is one of the best contemporary romance writers around – her Lucky Harbor series is among my favorite fluffy, feel good, fall in love with sexy guys series. Start there!

4. Julie Kagawa – Kagawa is an evil genius… and I love it. I started with her Iron Fey series and haven’t looked back. I mean, there is nothing I wouldn’t buy from her.

5. Katja Millay – I fell in love with Nastya and Josh Bennett and I swear that Katja could probably write me gibberish and put in a binding and slap a cover on it and I’d be happy. The characters she created in The Sea of Tranquility were amazing and I am convinced that she can do no wrong!

6. Tracey Garvis Graves – On the Island was one of my favorite books last year and simply said, it’s because of the characters that Tracey created. I don’t even care what her next book is about I already have it on pre-order so…

7. Stephanie Perkins – I think that Anna sealed the deal for me and probably a million and one other readers. I will forever and ever buy anything and everything that Stephanie wants me to read.

8. Tahereh Mafi – I love her writing style, I love her words, I love love love and adore her. There is no question that I will be purchasing anything and everything she works on in the future.

9. Lisa McMann – I was sold when I first picked up the Dream Catcher series. The story and the characters had me hooked… but then I picked up Dead to You and Cryer’s Cross and her new Visions series. I’m never disappointed and that’s what I like from an author!

10. Colleen Hoover – I shouldn’t even have to add an explanation here, but I will – Hopeless, Slammed, Point of Retreat – I’ve loved everything so there’s no question that anything and everything she puts out, I’ll be grabbing and reading.
