Top Ten Tuesday – Reading Goals for 2013!

Welcome to the weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish!

This weeks list is all about goals and with the new year, is there anyone out there NOT setting any kind of goals? You might have noticed me talking about some of the challenges that I’ve signed up for and that’s where the bulk of my list this week is going to be, but I have some additional things I’d like to do this year on the list! So without further ado…

My Top Ten 2013 Reading Goals

1. I resolve to read at least 12 new authors for my Debut Author Challenge

2. I resolve to read at least 12 books that have been on my To Be Read list for over a year!

3. I resolve to read at least 20 New Adult Books for my New Adult Challenge

4. I resolve to read at least 15 stand alone books for my Stand Alone Reading Challenge

5. I resolve to read at least 150 ebooks. (I know that sounds like a lot but the majority of what I have are ebooks!)

6. I resolve to do more than talk about attending BEA!!! This should be at the top of my list since I’ve wanted to go for the last two years, but I’m actually definitely, hopefully going this year and I hope to meet tons of awesome and wonderful people!

7. I resolve to clean off my REAL bookshelves and finally read stuff that has been sitting around forever!!

8. I resolve to comment more! I’ve been trying, here and there I post comments but I need to get better about sitting down and following all the links in a meme and commenting like I should.

9. Organize my goodreads shelves. Right now, my ‘to read’ list is gross. seriously. I need to go in and take off books that I know I’m not going to read or that have been there for ages and I need to add more shelves so that I can get more specific with my shelving!

10. I resolve to figure out how I can comment back on my threads on the blog. Right now, I try to respond to comments and it totally screws everything up and so I would like to figure out how to get it corrected this year so that I can respond to people who take the time to comment!!
