Happy Friday Everyone!!
So this is something new that the lovely Jenna over at Jenna Does Books has come up with and when she told me about it, I thought it would be something new and fun to try and participate in. While I most likely won’t be able to do every week, I am definitely going to make an effort to try!
SO… what is Truth or Dare? (book blog style… I assume you already know the game! lol)
TRUTH: Usually will require you to answer a question or a prompt that can be completed in text format, such as a “discussion” or “list” post.
DARE: These will require you to “go out of your shell” a bit. You may need to complete a special project, share photos, vlog or complete some equally “daring” task. Let your inner dare devil come alive!
Book I hate:
I can’t understand the love of this book. At all. I can’t even justify wasting my time typing up why I dislike this book so much, because I feel like I’ve said it all already. If you’re interested in seeing why, please check out my review.
“Where’s the fire, Lucy Dervish?’
I’m currently listening to this book on audio and am being reminded of all the reasons why I loved it when I first read it.
“I liked that he had hair that was growing without a plan. A smile that came out of nowhere and left the same way. That he was tall enough so I had to look up at him in my dream sequences. I really liked his t-shirts.”
If you haven’t picked up Graffiti Moon, I can’t tell you how much you need to. This book is filled with memorable lines, captivating characters and beautiful writing. Read my semi-coherent totally underwhelming review here!
I got talked into reading this because Jaime and our good friend Bri were diving into it. Both flounced and I felt the need to finish it but I have to say I wanted to rip my eyeballs out the entire time. That may seem harsh but I really didn’t enjoy this one. My review is here if you want to see why.
Book I Love:
I probably put this book on my list every time I am asked about my favorite books but I don’t care. It will always be one of my favorites. It has everything I love in a book – love, angst, swoony boys, and snarky girls. In my opinion it is one of the best and if I ever meet Katja Millay I will probably fangirl like a fool. Here is my review from the first time I read it…it doesn’t come close to doing the book justice but you might get a glimpse of how much I really enjoy this one.
