So I just saw this cover and knew I was going to need this book. I thought book one was beautiful but there is just something about this one that draws me in. With that said, it has a historical spin and a love story. Even though the summary is super short, it still sounds super interesting so check it out.

Based on the Scottish Ballad of Tam Lin is set in Mississippi during the Civil War. Violet Dancey, a 17-year-old whose father has left to fight in the Civil War, is forced to confront Thomas, a hurt Union soldier near her home. She must decide how to approach the enemy – and how to deal with her growing attraction to him.
